From the moment work started on the formative concept sketches of the Phantom, it was crucial that the design team had an instinctive feel for what makes the unmistakable Rolls-Royce 'look'.

When creating the Phantom Drophead Coupé our design team, led by Ian Cameron, drew inspiration from the maritime age of the 1930's such as the Riva and J-Class yachts.

The Coupé is the most driver-orientated model in the Phantom line. A number of subtle but significant modifications have been made that change its character. It is noticeably more dynamic, whilst still offering incredible levels of comfort.

The Phantom palette offers 15 standard and five contrast color combinations which may be specified for customers for use in different applications.

Innovation and experimentation have been at the heart of Rolls-Royce's philosophy for more than a century, and still remain at the core of the brand today.
